S Jaishankar Meets Croatian PM; Discusses Bilateral Ties

External affairs minister S Jaishankar on 3rd September 21 met Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenkovic and discussed opportunities to further expand bilateral cooperation, including in pharma, digital and infrastructure.
Jaishankar thanked Plenkovic for receiving him at Zagreb and said that they also discussed “pressing global issues”, including the situation in Afghanistan.

The Indian Army on Thursday carried out an integrated manoeuvre and live-fire exercise in Ladakh amid a year-long tension with China in the region. India’s 1st N-Missile Tracking Ship Dhruv to be Launched on Sept 10

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is expected to commission India’s first satellite and ballistic missile tracking ship Dhruv from Visakhapatnam on September 10. The main aim of DTTI is to bring sustained leadership focus to promote collaborative technology exchange and create opportunities for co-production and co-development of future technologies for Indian and US military forces. Under DTTI, Joint Working Groups on land, naval, air, and aircraft carrier technologies have been established for focus on mutually agreed projects in respective domains. Out of total 11,76,300 employees of Railways, registered employee beneficiaries are 11,24,058. Total HMIS employee cards generated are 10,33,143. Card generated is persons who have got their UMID card made. Out of total 16,52,082 pensioners of Railways, registered pensioners beneficiaries are 4,83,592. Total HMIS pensioners beneficiaries cards generated are 3,75,440. Employees have average 3-4 dependent and pensioners have 2-3 dependents.
