In a bid to gear up for the event, a half-day interactive workshop was held in New Delhi yesterday which was inaugurated by the Secretary, Ministry of Earth Sciences Dr. M. Rajeevan, and Secretary Coal & Mines, Anil Kumar Jain.
This fair, which is called Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadaljara in Spanish, is the biggest book fair in the Spanish-speaking world. Shri Sanjay Dhotre delivered the inaugural address at the book fair during its opening yesterday. The National Book Trust (NBT), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Government of India (GoI), is participating as the nodal agency of the GoI in this book fair.
The three-day event would, among other things, feature an investors meeting, an exhibition, webinars, hackathons, and business to business meetings. It will showcase key biotechnological innovations, products, services, and technologies from national and international companies, start-ups and research institutions.
