At INNOPROM, SBER is highlighting a cross-border settlement system designed to move payments to India within minutes, together with rupee-denominated services including accounts, deposits, letters of credit and bank guarantees. Its business development arm also assists Russian companies entering India, from identifying suppliers to completing their first commercial transactions.
Nearly 70 Indian competitors will participate, while the country will make its debut in 11 skill categories, reflecting the widening scope of India’s vocational training and its growing emphasis on advanced technologies, specialised services and future-oriented industries.
Dronathon 2026 will focus on surveillance and reconnaissance, autonomous operations, swarm technologies and electronic warfare. Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems will also form a major part of the programme as armed forces increasingly confront the challenge posed by small, low-cost and expendable drones.
The Ministry of Defence opened online exhibitor registration and booking of exhibition space on September 3, 2026, through the dedicated Aero India portal. The digital platform is intended to handle exhibitor participation, space allocation and other services connected with the event.
GENESIS EIR 3.0 targets some of the technology areas that are becoming increasingly important for India’s future industrial and strategic capabilities. These include electronics, information technology, DeepTech, artificial intelligence and machine learning, Internet of Things, semiconductor and VLSI technologies, cybersecurity, blockchain, quantum technologies, and AR/VR and immersive technologies.
The third edition will bring together participants from academia, industry, research institutions, government organisations, the Armed Forces and the wider technology community. The competition will focus on areas such as artificial intelligence, cyber defence, threat detection and digital awareness.

The competition aims to build a proof-of-concept system in which a collaborative swarm of Unmanned Aerial Systems functions as an airborne radar network. The proposed system is expected to detect, track and report aerial targets in a contested environment, while sending accurate target-location data to a centralised monitoring station.
