Dixon Technologies Plans Entry Into Aerospace and Defence Electronics as Next Growth Frontier

Rather than treating these markets as simple extensions of its existing consumer-electronics operations, the company is developing a broader capability roadmap covering capital allocation, specialised talent and strategic partnerships. The objective is to move further into technologically demanding products while building what Dixon describes as a globally competitive manufacturing platform.

DRDO Secures Patent for Indigenous BAM-H24 High-Energy Fuel for Advanced Solid Rocket Propulsion

BAM-H24 is rich in boron, hydrogen and nitrogen, elements of considerable interest in high-energy propulsion chemistry. According to the University of Hyderabad, the compound combines strong chemical and thermal stability with relatively low sensitivity to impact and friction. It is also non-hygroscopic, helping it resist moisture absorption during storage and handling.

Indrajaal Expands Made-in-India AI-Powered Anti-Drone Defence for Critical Infrastructure

At the centre of the architecture is SkyOS, Indrajaal’s AI-driven autonomy and air-command platform. SkyOS combines information from acoustic sensors, radio-frequency systems, electro-optical cameras and thermal sensors to create a common picture of low-altitude airspace. The platform can classify an incoming drone, predict its trajectory and select an appropriate response within seconds.

Tembo and Belgium’s New Lachaussée Plan 100-Million-Round Ammunition Manufacturing Facility in India

Under the Tembo-New Lachaussée project, the Belgian company will provide a complete ammunition production line for two calibres, while also supplying tooling that will allow production of two additional calibres. The project is valued at approximately €50 million, with equipment deliveries and installation planned across 2028 and 2029.

DRDO’s Next Pinaka Leap: 370-mm Rocket Motor Points to Future 300-km-Class Guided Rocket

The clearest evidence of the new configuration comes from DRDO’s Research Centre Imarat in Hyderabad, which has sought the fabrication of five sets of 370-mm ELRGR rocket-motor systems. The requirement covers specialised manufacturing processes including flow forming, precision machining, welding of 11-10 precipitation-hardening steel and proof-pressure testing. The motor sets are to be supplied to RCI within a six-month delivery window.
