To Facilitate Online Delivery of Govt Services, MeitY Enables Map Services in UMANG App

The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) has taken a number of initiatives to ease the lives of citizens by facilitating the online delivery of Government services. MeitY has enabled map services in the “UMANG App” through an MOU with MapmyIndia to further strengthen the Digital India Program’s activities keeping in mind the concept of “Aatmanirbhar Bharat.”

Indian Navy Accepts First Batch of Two MH-60r Multi Role Helicopters (MRH)

MH-60R helicopters manufactured by Lockheed Martin Corporation, USA is an all-weather helicopter designed to support multiple missions with state of the art avionics/ sensors. 24 of these helicopters are being procured under Foreign Military Sales from the US Government. The helicopters would also be modified with several India Unique Equipment and weapons.

Digital Platform Kisan Sarathi Launched to Facilitate Farmers to Get ‘Right Information at Right Time’ in Their Desired Language

Automated Train Toilet Sewerage Disposal System – A Cost-effective Alternative To Bio-toilets

The automated system consists of three simple steps–the septic tank (which is placed under the track, i.e., train line) top cover gets opened when train approaches to the septic tank place by using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) sensor and reader placed at Engine and septic tank position respectively, sewerage material in toilet tanks is dropped into the septic tank when they are mutually synchronized, and finally the septic tank cover gets closed when train departs away from it.

Eight New Routes Launched to Boost Regional Aerial Connectivity

Shri JyotiradityaScindia, Union Minister of Civil Aviation along with Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Chief Minister, Madhya Pradesh and Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare on Friday virtually flagged off 8 new routes bolstering the aerial connectivity from Madhya Pradesh to Maharashtra & Gujarat. Shri Rakesh Singh, Member of Parliament, Jabalpur, Shri Pradeep Singh Kharola, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation along with other senior officials of the ministry were also present during the flag off.
