PM Dedicates to the Nation 35 Crop Varieties with Special Traits

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi dedicated to the Nation 35 crop varieties with special traits through video conference. The Prime Minister also dedicated to the nation the newly constructed campus of National Institute of Biotic Stress Management Raipur.  On the occasion, the Prime Minister also distributed the Green Campus Award to Agricultural Universities. He interacted with farmers who use innovative methods and address the gathering.

Government of India Announces India’s Airspace Map for Drones Operations

The digital map defines Green, Yellow and Red Zones across the country for drone operations and is available on DGCA’s digital platform https://digitalsky.dgca.gov.in/home. The Green Zone consisting of the airspace up to 400 feet and up to 200 feet above the area located between 8-12 kilometres from the perimeter of an operational airport require no permission for operating drones with an all-up weight upto 500 kgs.

Centre Places Srinagar on International Aviation Map

“This is a historic step both for J&K and its people. Foreign travellers will soon be able to arrive directly in Srinagar,” civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said at a joint press conference with J&K lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha. The media interaction followed a detailed review of all aviation matters related to the J&K, by Sinha and Scindia.

Gross Direct Tax Collections for the Financial Year (FY) 2021-22 Register A Growth of 47%

The figures of Direct Tax collections for the Financial Year 2021-22, as on 22.09.2021 show that net collections are at Rs. 5,70,568 crore, compared to Rs. 3,27,174 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding Financial Year i.e., FY 2020-21, representing an increase of 74.4%. The net collection (as on 22.09.2021) in FY 2021-22 has registered a growth of 27% over FY 2019-20 when the net collection was Rs. 4,48,976 crore.
