Cabinet Approves Signing of a MoU between India and Japan in the Area of Decentralized Domestic Wastewater Management

The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, on Thursday has given its ex-post facto approval for a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) signed between the Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation (DoWR, RD&GR), Ministry of Jal Shakti and The Ministry of the Environment of Japan in the areas of Decentralized Domestic Waste Water Management.

India Plans to Develop Combat UGV Based on Arjun Tank

The DRDO publication said the proposed combat UGV will be fitted, like the Arjun MBT, with a 120 mm main gun as its primary weapon. It will operate an ‘Indigenous Geographic Information System’ (INDIGIS) that will provide the UGV operator a “visual perspective” of the platform’s location and operational terrain.

Chinook Sets Record with Longest Sortie

A CH-47F (I) Chinook helicopter of the Indian Air Force on Monday set a record by flying the longest, non-stop chopper sortie in India, with the operation training task requiring it to fly from Chandigarh to Jorhat, officials familiar with the development said.
