GRSE Delivers Eighth Landing Craft Utility Ship to Indian Navy

The amphibious ships, to be based in the strategic location of Andaman and Nicobar Islands — which is close to various routes leading to the South China Sea — “are specifically designed to undertake landing operations in most difficult beaching areas”, GRSE chairman and managing director Rear Admiral (retd) V K Saxena said.

Indian Air Force launched e-Office Portal

The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria PVSM AVSM VM ADC formally launched the IAF e-Governance (e-Office) portal at Air HQ, Vayu Bhavan on 31 Dec 20. The implementation undertaken as part of Digital India and the e-governance initiative will transform the entire Indian Air Force into a ‘paperless office’ workflow.

GST Revenue Collection for December 2020 Recorded All Time High Since Implementation of GST

The gross GST revenue collected in the month of December 2020 is ₹ 1,15,174 crore of which CGST is ₹ 21,365 crore, SGST is ₹ 27,804 crore, IGST is ₹ 57,426 crore (including ₹ 27,050 crore collected on import of goods) and Cess is ₹ 8,579 crore (including ₹ 971 crore collected on import of goods). The total number of GSTR-3B Returns filed for the month of November up to 31st December 2020 is 87 lakhs.

In the Last One Year, More than 3 Crore Tap Water Connections Provided Under Jal Jeevan Mission

al Jeevan Mission provide 3 Crore tap water connections since August, 2019. Further, 26 districts, 457 Blocks, 34,919 Panchayats and 65,627 villages have become ‘Har Ghar Jal’ meaning every family living in these rural areas is getting assured tap water supply in their homes and ‘no one is left behind’. Goa has become the first State in the country to provide 100% FHTCs and became ‘Har Ghar Jal’ State.
