Not only this, all three platoon commanders under her, Captain Anjana, AEE (Civ) Bhawana Joshi and AEE (Civ) Vishnumaya K are lady officers and they have together created a first-ever women RCC. The Border Roads plans to make four such all women-led RCCs, two each in North Eastern and Western Sectors.”

Termed as an ‘Elevated Platform for Gathering Intelligence through Electronic Support Measures (ESM)’, the project is being executed by the Army’s Military College of Telecommunication Engineering located at Mhow near Indore. ESM gather intelligence through passive “listening” to radio transmissions or electromagnetic radiations and the data so generated can be used to assess the enemy’s tactical activity or develop a library on the signature and capability of the adversary’s equipment.

As per Economic Survey 2019-20, there are an estimated 38 crore unorganised workers (UW) in the country, which would be targeted to register on this portal.These migrant workers also can now take the benefits of various social security and employment-based schemes through registration at the e-Shram portal.

Defence Delegation from India Visits Nigeria

An Indian defence delegation led by Lieutenant General Vinod Khandare, Military Adviser and National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) is on a visit to Nigeria to explore new areas of convergence for mutual engagement. The delegation is being deemed unique in its composition for incorporating representatives of NSCS, Ministry of Defence, all three Armed Forces, Ministry of External Affairs and Defence Industry deputies.
