42 Companies Selected Under PLI Scheme for White Goods: Centre

According to the Central Government 42 firms out of 52 have been selected under the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for white goods. 26 firms would invest Rs. 3,898 crore (US$ 522.97 million) for air conditioner components and 16 firms would invest Rs. 716 crore (US$ 96.06 million) for LED component manufacturing.

People Vaccinated With Covaxin Can Now Enter US From November 8

A day after World Health Organisation(WHO) granted emergency use approval for Bharat Biotech’s COVID-19 vaccine Covaxin, an official of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has informed that all travellers fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with Covaxin have been given the green light to enter the United States from November 8.
