Make in India

The ePlane Company was founded in 2019 by Professor Satya Chakravarthy, an aerospace engineer and faculty member at IIT Madras. The project began with a small team seeking to develop an electric aircraft specifically suited to the density, congestion and infrastructure limitations of Indian cities.

The importance of Addverb extends beyond the individual machines it manufactures. Its wider ambition is to develop complete automation systems in India by combining mechanical engineering, electronics, artificial intelligence, industrial software and systems integration. The company is therefore part robot manufacturer, part software developer and part warehouse-engineering contractor.
