Nathu La: Zoho’s India-Designed Server Takes Aim at AI Costs and Technological Dependence

Unveiled on June 10, 2026, Nathu La represents Zoho’s first major entry into computer hardware. The Chennai-headquartered technology company developed the platform through a specialised engineering team based in Nagpur, extending its operations beyond business software, cloud services and artificial intelligence into the physical infrastructure that runs them.

Octillion Opens Third EV Battery Plant in India, Adds 3 GWh Capacity at Halol

Spread across more than 13,000 square metres, the Halol plant was converted from an empty industrial structure into a fully operational battery manufacturing facility in less than eight months. At full utilisation, it is expected to produce more than 48,000 battery systems annually, catering to a wide range of electric vehicles including passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, trucks and buses.

HAL Revives Su-30MKI Production at Nashik, 12 New Fighters to Join IAF by 2029

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is reviving production of the Su-30MKI at its Nashik complex, bringing one of India’s most important fighter manufacturing lines back into active aircraft production several years after the original licensed-production programme was completed. Under the new programme, HAL will manufacture 12 additional Su-30MKI fighters for the Indian Air Force, with deliveries expected to be completed by 2029.
