551 PSA Oxygen Generation Plants to be Set Up in Public Health Facilities Across the Country Through PM CARES

In line with Prime Minister’s direction of boosting availability of oxygen to hospitals, the PM CARES Fund has given in-principal approval for allocation of funds for installation of 551 dedicated Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Medical Oxygen Generation Plants inside public health facilities in the country. PM has directed that these plants should be made functional as soon as possible. He said that these plants will serve as a major boost to oxygen availability at the district level.

Army Sets Up Solar Power Plant at Jalandhar Cantt

The solar power project spans across 5 acres of land and has been constructed at a cost of Rs 5.16 crore. Under this project, a total of 3,176 solar panels of Indian origin have been set up to generate 1 MW of solar energy. The plant would generate at least 15 lakh units of electricity annually or about 1.25 lakh units per month, amounting to approximate saving of Rs 1 crore annually to the government exchequer.

“On 22nd and 23rd April 2021, newly constructed buildings of Shree Rambha Higher Secondary School, Shree Laxmi Higher Secondary School and Shree Nava Adarsha Multiple Campus respectively, built with Government of India’s financial assistance of NRs. 98.37 Million, were virtually inaugurated by Shri Karun Bansal, First Secretary (DP&R) of the Embassy of India, Kathmandu, District Coordination Committee, Palpa and School Management Committee and local representatives,” the release from the Indian Embassy stated.
