India has banned the imports of refined palm oil, a government notification said on Wednesday, as New Delhi tries to curb imports from Malaysia following criticism from Kuala Lumpur on India’s actions in the Kashmir region and its new citizenship law– The Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019.

“Chabahar Port is a symbol of very good friendship between India, Iran, Afghanistan, Commonwealth of Independent States, Europe, whole Persian Gulf. It does not belong only to Iran and India. Chabahar will go on, don’t worry about it” Chegani was reported as saying by ANI.

“India usually plays a very good role in (maintaining) peace in the world. At the same time, India belongs to this region. We welcome all initiatives from all countries, especially India as a good friend for us, to not allow escalation (of tensions),” Iranian Ambassador to India Ali Chegeni told reporters after a condolence meeting for Solemani at the country’s embassy here.

The EAEU member states approved a document defining the strategic goals for developing the Eurasian integration until 2025, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated last week while listing its achievements for 2019.
