Geological Survey of India Training Institute (GSITI),Hydrabad,  the training and capacity building wing of the  Geological Survey of India (GSI), under the Ministry of Mines  has recently launched its 24×7 website(https://training.gsiti.gsi.gov.in/)  for round-the-clock accessibility of various online training courses on Earth Sciences to its stakeholders. This is in tune with the Digital India Campaign of the Government of India.

Ins Airavat Arrives At Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam With Covid Relief Supplies

As part of the ongoing Mission SAGAR, INS Airavat arrived at Ho Chi Minh City Port in Vietnam with COVID Relief Material on 30 August 2021. The ship is carrying 100 Metric Tons of Liquid Medical Oxygen in 05 ISO Containers and 300 Oxygen Concentrators of 10 LPM capacity each based on the requirement projected by the Government of Vietnam in its fight against the ongoing COVID19 pandemic.

Web Version of e-GOPALA App Unveiled to Aid Dairy Farmers

The web version of e-GOPALA application developed by National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) has been launched on Saturday to aid dairy farmers. The NDDB has launched the web version of e-GOPALA application and IMAP web portal on Saturday which provides real-time information to dairy farmers for better productivity of dairy animals, a statement said.

Covid Tests Report Soon On CoWIN Platform To Aid Foreign Travel

RT-PCR tests for Covid — mandatory for travel in some states within India and when travellers go abroad — will be linked to the government’s CoWIN app, the way vaccination certificates are attached now, RS Sharma, chief of the National Health Authority, told NDTV in an interview today. This, he said, will help travellers prove that they have undergone authentic tests, certified by the government.

To celebrate second anniversary of Fit India Movement and as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur launched the Fit India Mobile Application at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, New Delhi on National Sports Day today. Minister of State, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Shri Nisith Pramanik also graced the event. Secretary, Sports Shri Ravi Mittal and Secretary, Youth Affairs, Smt Usha Sharma were also present on the occasion.
