The SWARNIM VIJAY MASHAAL arrived at the Institute atop Ceremonial Vehicle with a convoy led by Lt Col CP Rai from 4/8 Gorkha Rifles. The SWARNIM VIJAY MASHAAL is being taken all across India to pay respect to the brave solders who fought this historic war and liberalised Bangladesh, and also to generate public awareness about the sacrifice of country’s Armed Forces.

Indian Naval Greek Warships Naval Exercise

INS Tabar reached the port of Alexandria in Egypt. The Indian warship and the Greek warship are said to have conducted this exercise on June 30. The purpose of this exercise is to increase the training of the Greek army with the navies of other countries of the world. It aims to improve operational readiness, combat capability and cooperation on a bilateral basis.

Study Could Help Beat Multi-Drug Resistance

The scientists at IISER, Yashraj Chavhan, Sarthak Malusare, and Sutirth Dey conducted their study on E Coli bacteria. They grew samples of the bacteria with varying population sizes across different environments and then subjected them to whole-genome, whole-population sequencing analysis. They found that samples with a small population size acquired a certain set of mutations which allow them to survive in a certain environment but not in others.
