The Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Ms. Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti in a written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha today informed that the total stock of foodgrains in the Central Pool as on 16.07.2021 was 882.77 lakh tons consisting of 589.06 lakh tons of wheat and 293.71 lakh tons of rice.
Quantity of rice (Basmati and Non Basmati) and wheat exported from India during 2019-20 and 2020-21(provisional) is as under;-
