MOSCOW, November 14. /TASS/. The Russian delegation, headed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, will pay special attention to the development of the digital economy at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, which will be held in Papua New Guinea on November 17-18.
“Medvedev will participate at the 26th APEC summit, which will take place in Port Moresby (Papua New Guinea) on November 17-18”, the press service of the Russian government said. At the meeting, APEC members’ heads of state and governments will discuss “urgent issues on the global and regional agenda.” “Particular emphasis will be placed on stimulating the development of the digital economy to ensure sustainable and overall economic growth,” according to the statement.
A joint declaration will be adopted after the summit.
