Russia’s state nuclear corporation Rosatom has expanded its industrial partnership with Indian companies through a series of new agreements covering engineering software, power-plant modernisation, titanium production and advanced manufacturing, broadening India–Russia cooperation beyond traditional nuclear energy.
The agreements emerged during INNOPROM India 2026, held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from September 9–11. The first Indian edition of Russia’s flagship industrial exhibition brought together government agencies, manufacturers and technology companies from both countries, with New Delhi and Moscow using the event to push their economic relationship increasingly towards co-development and manufacturing.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin subsequently visited the exhibition together on September 11 and interacted with participating companies. The two leaders officially identified INNOPROM as an important platform for expanding bilateral trade and industrial cooperation.
Rosatom Software Platform Gets New Indian Distribution Partner
One of the new partnerships involves JET Engineering and Technical Centre, part of Rosatom’s power-engineering ecosystem, and Indian technology company Syngient Technologies.
The two sides signed a distribution agreement covering the REPEAT VISION engineering and modelling platform, a Russian-developed software system used for modelling complex industrial processes and large engineering systems.
REPEAT VISION is designed for zero-dimensional and one-dimensional mathematical modelling and can be used across industries including electric power, aerospace, transport, oil and gas, construction and the military-industrial sector.
The Syngient agreement gives Rosatom another route into India’s rapidly growing engineering-simulation and industrial-software market.
Rosatom has already been expanding REPEAT in India. In April 2026, its Engineering and Technology Center GET signed a separate distribution agreement with Triangle Simulation for the REPEAT software package, showing that localisation and commercial expansion of Russian engineering software has become a wider component of India–Russia technology cooperation.
EM Services Partnership Targets Power-Plant Modernisation
A second agreement involves EM Services India, an engineering company active in the Indian power sector.
Rosatom and EM Services signed a memorandum of understanding covering cooperation in maintenance, reconstruction and modernisation of power facilities, along with the digitalisation of power plants.
