Two Vistadome Coaches are being operated by IR, one in Vishakhapatnam – Araku Sector by train no. 58501-58502 Vishakhapatnam Kirandul Passenger and other in Mumbai – Madgaon Sector by train no. 11051-11052 Dadar Madgaon Janshatabdi Express. The Occupancy of the Vistadome coach running on Vishakhapatnam – Araku Sector is 99.34% for the period from 01.04.2019 to 31.12.2019, while that of Mumbai – Madgaon Sector ranges from 62.21% to 98.19% during the same period.

The facilities provided are adequate and include wide windows, observation window at one end, roof with glass look out with controlled opalescence, rotatable seats, passenger information system, automatic sliding doors, mini pantry, wide door for divyang, etc.
Apart from standard safety arrangements, the Glass used in Vistadome coaches are shatter resistant with a film coating for safety of passengers.
Additional 10 Vistadome Coaches have been planned for production program of 2019-20.
