PM eVidya Programme for Digital Education in India

In order to promote digital education in the country and make e- learning feasible for students and teachers, Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Sunday launched PM eVidya programme. With this scheme, students and teachers will get multimode access to digital education. Over 100 universities will be permitted to start courses by May 30.

Anantha Shesha Naga – The Remainder

Anantha meaning Eternal, unbounded, innumerable, i.e. endless or boundless whether in time, in space. His name comes from the Sanskrit root “sis”, which means, “the One which Remains”. This is due to the fact that Shesha always remains in spite of all the Pralayas (Great Floods), each of which Kalpas (aeons) and yugas (eras) in the past. Interestingly, in Sanskrit texts; especially in those relating to mathematical calculation; the term “Shesha” implies the “remainder” – that which remains, while all else ceases to exist.

Government to Give Training to 41,000 Youths Under PMKVY

The center along with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has recently decided to give training to more than 41,000 youth of Rajasthan under the ambitious Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana. As per reports, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana aims to connect the youth with skill development and employment.
