India’s fresh fruit exports have also increased significantly. Fresh grapes are the most commonly exported item in the fresh food category. Fresh Grapes had a US$ 314 million export value in 2020-21.

The gross GST revenue collected in the month of February 2022 is Rs 1,33,026 crore of which CGST is Rs 24,435 crore, SGST is Rs 30,779 crore, IGST is Rs 67,471crore (including Rs 33,837 crore collected on import of goods) and cess is Rs 10,340 crore (including Rs 638 crore collected on import of goods).

Coal India Ltd, the world’s largest coal miner, is planning to export its product to neighbouring countries, after decades of exclusively supplying domestic customers. Coal export to Bangladesh, Bhutan and Sri Lanka is being explored. This is a part of as part of India’s “neighbourhood first” policy, which aims to counter China’s expanding economic influence in South Asia.
