All Room Air Conditioners to have Default Temperature Setting of 24 Degrees Celsius

The 240C default setting has been made mandatory from Jan 1, 2020 for all room air conditioners covered under the ambit of BEE star-labelling program vide this notification. Additionally, the Indian Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (ISEER) as per the new standards will range from (3.30 – 5.00) for split and (2.70 – 3.50) for window air conditioners, which will be applicable from 1st January 2021 onwards.

India Exports 3.2 Million Bales of Cotton in First Quarter of 2019-20

“Cotton export shipments from 1st October 2019 to 31st December 2019 which have already been shipped are estimated at 10 lakh bales while balance 32 lakh bales are expected to be shipped during the period from 1st January 2020 to 30th September 2020. Total exports estimated during the entire season are 42 lakh bales,” said CAI.
