Cabinet Approves Establishment of Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund
In pursuance of recently announced Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan stimulus package for ensuring growth in several sectors, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has approved setting up of Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund (AHIDF) worth Rs. 15000 crore.

Addressing the meeting, Shri Yadav instructed Zonal Railways to appoint nodal officers in each district as well as in the States so that a close coordination is established with the State Government. Russia Strongly Backs India’s Entry as Permanent Member of UN Security Council; Anti-Rerror Convention
Last week India won a non-permanent seat to the UNSC for the eighth-time after voting concluded at the UN headquarters in New York on June 17. India was the only country from the Asia-Pacific Group and won the election by polling 184 out 192 valid votes. The UNSC term will begin in January 2021.
Indian Armed Forces Contingent Participated In Victory Day Parade at Moscow, Russia
Russia is celebrating the 75th anniversary of victory of the then Soviet People in the great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Indian Armed Forces contingent participated in the Victory Day Parade at Red Square Moscow on 24 Jun 2020. The Tri-Service contingent of the Indian Armed Forces comprised of 75 all ranks and marched alongwith contingents of Russian Armed Forces and 17 other countries. Shri Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister was among the special invitees to the event.

Government of India has taken the decision to reduce the staff strength in the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi by 50%. It would reciprocally reduce its own presence in Islamabad to the same proportion.
