Researchers Develop New Materials to Help Power Up Low Power Electronics

Efforts to fabricate better and more effective energy sources for sensors and other low power electronics is expected to get a boost with a team of researchers from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, and Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST), South Korea, developing a set of new materials for devices that help convert biomechanical energy into electrical energy.

Government Gives Nod to 5 New Sites for N-Power Plants

‘Indian Antarctic Bill’ Introduced in Lok Sabha

Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Science & Technology; Minister of State (Independent Charge) Earth Sciences; Minister of State PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh on Friday introduced a Bill in Parliament to provide for national measures for protecting the environment of Antarctic and dependent and associated ecosystem and to give effect to the Antarctic Treaty, the Convention on the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources and Protocol on the Environmental Protection to the Antarctic Treaty.
