Bharat NCAP was developed with two closely connected objectives. The first is to give Indian consumers clearer information about vehicle safety. The second is to encourage automobile manufacturers to compete not only on price, mileage, design and features but also on the ability of their cars to protect people during serious accidents.
A person who wakes hungry after an early and easily digested dinner may benefit from a substantial morning meal. Someone who ate a heavy dinner late at night and wakes with no appetite may not benefit from forcing down another heavy meal simply because the clock says it is breakfast time.

The centre has been developed by the Ministry of MSME on 10 acres of land provided by the Karnataka government. It includes dedicated training, production and administrative blocks, along with hostels and staff accommodation.
The Ministry of External Affairs confirmed on September 8 that a Senior Highest Military Commander-Level Flag Meeting was held at Wacha on the Indian side on September 6, followed by a meeting at Damai on the Chinese side on September 7. According to the MEA, this was the first meeting under the mechanism in the eastern sector.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed on September 8 that the two leaders are expected to discuss issues of mutual interest during their meeting. The IAF will field a mixed fighter package comprising the indigenous LCA Tejas, Su-30MKI and Rafale. Japan will participate with the Mitsubishi F-2A, giving the exercise a diverse combination of aircraft with different operational roles, sensor suites and combat doctrines.
