The shipment represents the first export of mustard honey from the region and opens a new international market channel for local beekeepers and farmers associated with the FPO. The initiative is expected to encourage organised production, value addition and export-oriented apiculture while strengthening Tripura’s presence in the global agricultural market.
Among these projects, the Ken-Betwa Link Project, which will benefit parts of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, has progressed the furthest and has now entered the implementation stage. The project is estimated to cost around ₹44,605 crore and is designed to provide irrigation benefits to approximately 11.88 lakh hectares.
The proposed framework is based on Automotive Industry Standard AIS-230. The draft rules envisage an initial phase from October 1, 2027, under which vehicles in the relevant categories that are equipped with V2V systems would have to comply with the applicable AIS-230 requirements.
Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi has said that the Navy is adding an indigenous warship or submarine at an average rate of approximately one every 40 days. Unlike major naval exercises centred around destroyers, aircraft carriers, submarines and combat aircraft, the Kochi engagement concentrates on the less visible but critically important disciplines of detecting, handling and neutralising explosive threats in the maritime environment.
The importance accorded to Mandukaparni is not merely a modern interpretation of Ayurveda. Charaka specifically mentions the fresh juice of Mandukaparni among the Medhya Rasayanas, together with Yashtimadhu, Guduchi and Shankhapushpi. The Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India officially identifies Mandukaparni as Centella asiatica, while the Ministry of AYUSH’s e-Charak medicinal-plant database identifies the whole plant as the medicinal raw material.
The talks were co-chaired by Rudrendra Tandon, Secretary (East), Ministry of External Affairs, and Luke Goh, Permanent Secretary (Policy), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore. Both sides assessed implementation of initiatives under the CSP roadmap and discussed projects being taken forward through the India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable (ISMR).
Gurugram-based Chakr Innovation is addressing this problem through an Indian-developed retrofit approach.
