The Defence Ministry has discussed the development of Senahiya Military Hospital with India.
A delegation headed by Major General Dr Prashant Bharadwaj met with Defence Minister Mariya Didi on Sunday.
The Indian Embassy stated that the delegation met the Defence Minister and discussed improving medical facilities for Maldivian citizens and assistance to Senahiya Hospital.

The delegation consists of Major General Bharadwaj, the Dean and Deputy Commandant of Delhi’s Army Research and Referral Hospital, and senior hospital officials.
The delegation also paid a courtesy visit to Health Minister Abdulla Ameen.
The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has stated that Senahiya will be developed into a clinic and expand services by introducing MRI and CT scans.
