Singapore, July 16, 2025 — Four Indian Naval Ships — INS Delhi, INS Satpura, INS Shakti, and INS Kiltan — arrived at Singapore today as part of the Indian Navy’s operational deployment to Southeast Asia. The fleet, under the command of Rear Admiral Susheel Menon, Flag Officer Commanding the Eastern Fleet, was warmly received by personnel of the Republic of Singapore Navy and representatives from the High Commission of India in Singapore.
The visit aims to reinforce the deep-rooted maritime partnership between India and Singapore through a series of planned professional and community engagements. These include interactions with the Republic of Singapore Navy, academic discussions, and outreach initiatives that highlight the shared values and mutual respect between the two nations.
India and Singapore have enjoyed over three decades of strong naval cooperation, marked by regular port calls, joint exercises, exchange of best practices, and reciprocal training programs. This latest deployment reflects the growing synergy between the two navies and underscores their commitment to regional peace and maritime stability.
