MoHUA Joins Hands with Swiggy to Take Street Food Vendors Online Under PM SVANIDHI Scheme

As a part of Prime Minister Street Vendor’s AtmaNibhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) Scheme, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has entered into an MoU with Swiggy, the leading food ordering and delivery platform in India, to onboard street food vendors on its ecommerce platform, giving them online access to thousands of consumers and help these vendors grow their businesses.

Ayush Ministry to Take Up Clinical Study on Vasa and Guduchi for the Management of Covid-19

In view of the need for accelerated solutions for Covid-19, the Ministry of AYUSH has taken up systematic studies on different possible solutions through multiple channels. As part of this effort, a proposal for a clinical study to assess the role of Vasa Ghana, Guduchi Ghana and Vasa-Guduchi Ghana in therapeutic management of symptoms in Covid-19 positive cases have recently been approved.

Oxford Vaccine’s Trial to Start at Mumbai’s KEM Hospital

The government-run KEM Hospital here on Saturday will administer, as part of human trial, Oxford University’s Covishield vaccine for coronavirus to three persons, said hospital Dean Dr Hemant Deshmukh.
“We have screened 13 persons so far including 10 today, of which three will get the first shot of Oxford University-AstraZeneca developed Covishield vaccine on Saturday,” he said.
