EPFO Payroll Data: 12.76 Lakh Net Subscribers Added During April, 2021

The provisional payroll data of EPFO published on 20th June, 2021 highlights that EPFO has added around 12.76 lakh net subscribers during April, 2021. Despite the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, April 2021 registered an increase of 13.73% net subscribers addition as compared to the previous month during which around 11.22 lakh net subscribers were added to the payroll. Data reflects that the number of exits in the month of April, 2021 have declined by 87,821 and rejoining has increased by 92,864 subscribers as compared to March, 2021.

India’s Mineral Production Up 37% in April

India’s mineral production rose by 37.1 per cent in April 2021 over the same month a year ago, according to the mines ministry. The index of mineral production of mining and quarrying sector for the month stood at 108.0, which was 37.1 per cent higher from the the level in April 2020, the ministry said in a statement.

Reinforcing the commitment of the Modi Government to provide safe and secure digital payments eco-system, the Union Home Ministry under the leadership of the Home Minister Shri Amit Shah has operationalised the national Helpline 155260 and Reporting Platform for preventing financial loss due to cyber fraud. The National Helpline and Reporting Platform provides a mechanism for persons cheated in cyber frauds to report such cases to prevent loss of their hard earned money

Raksha Mantri Dedicates to the Nation 12 Roads, Built by BRO, in Northern & Eastern Border Areas

At an event organised in Lakhimpur district of Assam, the Raksha Mantri e-inaugurated a 20-km long double lane Kimin-Potin road, along with nine other roads in Arunachal Pradesh and one each in the Union Territories of Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir. The roads have been constructed under ‘Arunank’, ‘Vartak’, ‘Brahmank’, ‘Udayak’, ‘Himank’ and ‘Sampark’ projects of BRO.
