Prime Minister Modi Lays Foundation Stone for Water Supply Project in Manipur

Referring to the Water Supply Project, which is being implemented at a cost of Rs 3000 Crore he said it would reduce the water problems of the state and would be especially providing a huge relief to the women of the State. Shri Modi said that apart from Greater Imphal, the project would benefit 25 small towns and 1700 villages in the state. The project has been designed keeping in mind the needs of the next two decades.

APSEZ Becomes the First Indian Port to Sign Up for Science Based Targets Initiative

Strengthening India’s commitment to the ‘Paris Climate Agreement’, APSEZ has signed up for the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Through SBTi, companies are responding by committing to set science-based emissions reduction targets – across their entire value chain – that are consistent with keeping global warming to 1.5�C above pre-industrial levels. Committed companies have 24 months to have their targets approved and published by the SBTi.

Union Minister of Food Processing e-Inaugurates Zoram Mega Food Park in Mizoram

Union Minister of Food Processing Industries in the Government of India and Member Smt Harsimrat Kaur Badal today inaugurated the Zoram Mega Food Park Ltd at Kolasib in Mizoram through virtual conference. The Food Park built at a cost of Rs 75 crore and spread over 55 Acres of land will directly benefit over 25,000 farmers and will provide employment opportunities to over 5,000 people in the region.
