Spanish Navy Ship Arrives At Goa’s Mormugao Port

Mendez Nunez, with pennant number F-104, is a multipurpose frigate in service with the Spanish Navy. The ship was commissioned on March 21, 2006 and is based at Naval Base, Ferrol in Spain. The ship has over 200 crew members. The ship is fitted with Harpoon surface to surface missiles, Sea Sparrow surface to air missiles and a 5 inch caliber gun.

Indian Army Delegation Participates in Chinese Army’s Foundation Day Event

On an invite from the PLA, a delegation of the Indian Army comprising of officers and soldiers took part in the celebration. The PLA troops interacted with the visiting Indian delegation and presented a cultural programme comprising of several events to celebrate the occasion.
