India Among Observers of FNC’s High-End Technology

The National Election Committee (NEC) is organised the 2019 FNC Elections Visit Programme between October 4 and 6, including the main election day. As part of the programme, the committee hosted representatives of several international entities to observe the electoral process in the UAE.

India, Bangladesh Sign 7 Pacts

Responding to a question on the same, Jaishankar said at an interactive session at the World Economic Forum (WEF), “We are us and not just some other country. It’s not just in this initiative but in whole lot of areas. My own sense is as India becomes bigger, we will find concepts developed for other countries won’t necessarily apply to us. It’s not very likely we’ll copy models (from others).”

Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Modi noted the significance of the Metro and health-care projects in further enhancing the quality of life of the people of Mauritius, as well as in deepening the close ties between the two countries.
