The situation in Jammu and Kashmir is an internal matter of India and not an issue in Indo-Russia relations, Russian envoy to India Nikolay Kudashev has said.

“Ministry of Foreign Affairs has noticed few misleading news items published in different media regarding the supposed visit of State Minister for Foreign Affairs to participate in Raisina Dialouge in New Delhi organized by Overseas Research Foundation (ORF),” according to Bangladesh Foreign Affairs Ministry statement.

Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif will be in New Delhi next week when India is expected to convey that peace, security and stability in the Gulf region was of importance given New Delhi’s dependence on fuel imports and the presence of about 7-8 million Indian expatriates in the region.
