According to Zee Media sources, the tragedy struck when a brave Indian Army soldier, Lance Naik Sanjeeva Reddy, was operating a dozer in the snowbound high-altitude areas of Sikkim during which he struck by an avalanche. In a statement, the Indian Army said that it immediately launched a search and rescue operation and all-out efforts are being made to locate the soldier.

According to these intelligence reports, 15 Pakistan army troopers were killed along with eight terrorists on April 10 when the army hit targets in the Keran sector using long-range ammunition. India has prepared the INS Sindhuvir, a Soviet-built Project 877 (Kilo-class) submarine for handover to the Myanmar Navy, a military-diplomatic source told TASS. “The submarine’s repair was finalized this February in India. It is only a matter of time and crew training before it will be handed over to the Myanmar Navy,” the source said.
