DRDO Signs Technology Development Contract with Rosoboronexport Russia

During DefExpo 2020, HEMRL, Pune signed technology development contract with Rosoboronexport, Russia for development of Advanced Pyrotechnic Ignition Systems. This will enable advancement in the field of energetic materials and pyrotechnic technology leading to the development of advanced ignition systems. This will meet futuristic requirements of high-performance propulsion systems.

Kalyani M4 – The Mobile Armour To Protect Our Soldiers

A prototype of the vehicle, named ‘Kalyani M4’ and currently in trial stage, will be on display at the Defence Expo in Vrindavan Yojana. This indigenous armoured protected fighting vehicle can provide side blast protection against 50kg of TNT explosives. Col(retd) Rajinder Singh Bhatia, CEO of Bharat Forge, said one of the greatest challenges in combating terror is ensuring the safety of the security personnel and ‘Kalyani M4’ would be of immense importance in such situations
