Defence Minister Dedicates BRO Road to the Nation in East Sikkim

Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh was in Sikkim to dedicate the 19.85 Km Alternate Alignment of the National Highway 310 from km 0.00 to km 19.350 to the Nation. Necessitated due to the previous alignment having seen extensive damages due to sinking and other natural hazards, the road serves as an important link to bolster defence preparedness in the Nathula Sector in particular and in whole of East Sikkim in general.

India’s COVID-19 Recovery Rate Touches 90 Per Cent

India’s national recovery rate has reached close to 90 per cent after 70.16 lakh persons have recovered from novel coronavirus out of the total positive cases detected so far. On Saturday, India’s total COVID-19 tally reached 78.15 lakh with detection of 53, 370 fresh cases. In comparison to fresh cases, 67, 549 persons were discharged from medical supervision taking the national recovery rate to 89.78 per cent.

Jammu & Kashmir Grievance System has been Integrated with the Central Grievance Portal

Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh informed here today that the Jammu & Kashmir grievance system has been integrated with the Central Grievance Portal, thus making it the first Union Territory of India to have its district level grievance offices integrated with Central Government Portal of CPGRAMS (Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System).
