India Indio Networks, a homegrown Indian data networking products company, today released a new line of indigenously manufactured, enterprise-grade WiFi Access Points. Indio’s enterprise-grade Access Points are specially engineered to support various Public WiFi development initiatives like PM-WANI and WiFi Choupal which require latest generation, secure and affordable networking products.
It can be described as “the Aadhaar for land” and will be used to prevent land fraud, a Department of Land Resources official told The Hindu. The identification will be based on the longitude and latitude coordinates of the land plot, which in turn will be based on detailed surveys and geo-referenced cadastral maps, the report stated.
