India Test-Fires Quick Reaction Surface-to-Air Missile

The state-of-the-art missile has been developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for the India Army.The air defence system, QRSAM, was test-fired at 11.05 am from a mobile truck-based launch unit at complex 3 of the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur near here, DRDO sources said.

The Pakistani Army has been offered to approach with a white flag and take over the dead bodies for last rites. Pakistan is yet to respond, sources in the Army said on Sunday. The Army had foiled an attack by Pakistan’s Border Action Team (BAT) on a forward post along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday, killing at least five to seven intruders.
