According to provisional statistics, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 146.70 Cr (146,70,18,464) in the previous 24 hours, with close to 1 Cr Doses (99,27,797) vaccine doses administered. This was accomplished after 1,57,38,732 sessions.
In the last 24 hours, 11,007 people have recovered, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 3,43,06,414 since the outbreak began.
As a result, India’s recovery rate is 98.13%.
Sustained and collaborative efforts by the Centre and the States/UTs have maintained the trend of less than 50,000 Daily New Cases for the past 190 days.
In the previous 24 hours, 37,379 new cases have been recorded.
The number of active cases in India is currently 1,71,830. Active cases account for 0.49% of all Positive Cases in the country.
The testing capacity in India continues to grow. A total of 11,54,302 tests were performed in the last 24 hours. In total, India has conducted around 68.24 Cr (68,24,28,595) tests.
While testing capacity has been increased across the country, the country’s Weekly Positivity Rate is currently 2.05%, with a Daily Positivity Rate of 3.24%.
