As part of the programme, a two-year advanced diploma in IT, networking and cloud computing, co-created and designed by IBM, will be offered at the Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) & National Skill Training Institutes (NSTIs). The platform will be extended to train ITI & NSTI faculty on building skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI). Skills Build offers digital learning content from IBM and partners such as Code Door, Coorp academy and Skillsoft.

“Our collaboration with Nanhi Kali will help girl students to be digitally ready and empower them to bring about a positive change in the economy,” SAP Labs India Senior Vice President and Managing Director Sindhu Gangadharan told reporters here.

The initiative is supported by UNICEF. It aims to engage over 300 million youngsters in education, skills training or employment over the next decade. To help them, Smriti Irani , Minister for Women and Child Development launched ‘YuWaah’ — Generation Unlimited’. The government partnered with 30 participating to train the youth between the ages of 10 and 24.

In a move for gender equality in the male-dominated environs of the over 15-lakh-strong armed forces, defence minister Rajnath Singh has okayed a proposal to admit girls in Sainik schools from the 2021-22 session in a phased manner

The long-term partnership comprises the launch of the first ”Network of Excellence” and ”Aeronautical Integrated Design from Engineering to Maintenance”, according to a statement. This Network of Excellence would contribute to the development of training, research and entrepreneurship in the strategic civil and military aeronautical fields in India.

The selected students will be mentored by experts under the Prime Minister Innovative Learning Programme – “Dhruv”. On the lines of Dhruv initiative, Isro is also setting up space technology incubation centres and space research centres across the country to exploit the potential of children and youth of the country in space science.

The main objective of the MoU is to undertake and facilitate multidisciplinary directed basic and applied research and technology development in the identified research verticals namely; Computational System Security and Sensors. The centre will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment leading to increase in research scholars in these areas.
