The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) aims to undertake more human space flights and also build a station in the outer space, once it successfully completes its maiden mission — Gaganyaan — in 2022, Isro chairman K Sivan said
Officials of the Kaziranga National Park and avian specialists conducted the second wetland bird count on January 9-10. The teams counted a total of 19,225 birds belonging to 96 species under 80 families.

“The mission is complex and needs collaboration between CSIR, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for achieving the objective. CSIR will play a vital role in design of the space shuttle which will be tested in the wind tunnel facility at NAL,” said the DG CSIR.

To provide a safe, non-toxic and eco-friendly substitute to synthetic colours, the Scientists of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research- Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (CSIR-IHBT) have extracted natural colours and dyes from the natural occurring vegetables and plants sources.
According to news agency ANI, the packaged food items for Mission Gaganyaan – scheduled to take off before 2022 – will include veg rolls, egg rolls, moong dal halwa, idli sambar and upma, among other things. Food heaters will be provided too.
Delivering the inaugural address, the Prime Minister said, “The growth story of India depends on its achievements in the Science & Technology sector. There is a need to revolutionize the landscape of Indian Science Technology and Innovation.”
The IDRSS is planned to track and be constantly in touch with Indian satellites, in particular those in low-earth orbits which have limited coverage of earth.
