Indian Railways is ready to run Shramik Special trains from all the districts connected by Railways in the country.

In order to capture the information regarding movement of migrants and facilitate the smooth movement of stranded persons across States, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has developed an online Dashboard – National Migrant Information System (NMIS).

Announcing the 2nd tranche of Rs 20 lakh crore Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan package on Thursday, the Finance Minister said, “By March 2021, 100 percent coverage under ‘One Nation One Ration Card’ will be done”.

Gujarat is all set to implement sensor-based service delivery monitoring system in rural drinking water sector under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). The pilot is already underway in two districts of the state so as to monitor the functionality of water supply i.e. potable water in adequate quantity and of prescribed quality being provided to every rural household on regularly on long-term basis.

Food Corporation of India (FCI) is ensuring uninterrupted supply of wheat and rice throughout the country during the lockdown period. Government/FCI has not only met the foodgrain requirement under National Food Security Act (NFSA) @ 5 KG/Month/Beneficiary but also the additional allocation of 5Kg/Person to 81.35 crore people under PM Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana (PMGKAY).

The PM CARES Fund Trust on Wednesday decided to allocate Rs 3,100 crore for fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and the amount will be used, among other things, to purchase ventilators and caring for migrant workers, the Prime Minister”s Office said.

Jammu and Kashmir plans to provide tap water connection to all rural households by December, 2022 under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). During the current year, the Union Territory (UT) is planning for 100% coverage of all 5,000 villages of 3 districts i.e. Gandharbal, Srinagar and Raisi.
