BSF Delegation in Bangladesh for Border Management

The Indian delegation, led by BSF Second-in-Command (2IC) Arun Kumar Verma, will first arrive at BGB’s Pilkhana headquarters in Dhaka from Benapole. After a brief stopover in Dhaka, the BSF team will head for the BGB Training Centre and School at Baitul Izzat in Satkania upazila of Chittagong.

Preparations on for International Army Scout Master Meet

The event will witness participation of mechanised infantry scouts teams of eight countries including China, Belarus, Zimbabwe, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia and host India. Russia is the founding member of this format of international army games.
For the first time, China will take part in the event.
Defence minister Rajnath Singh, army chief and several VIPs are expected to attend the meet.

Defence Ministry Approved Army Headquarters Restructuring Plans: Army Chief

The recommendations for restructuring were made by the army for turning itself into an agile, lethal and capability-based force to tackle the challenges of future warfare. Restructuring is part of transformation plans of Army chief Gen Bipin Rawat for the reorganisation of the amy headquarters which would result in saving of 20 per cent officers posted in Delhi who would now be posted to field fighting formations along the borders.

Egyptian-Indian Naval Forces Started Maritime Training on Wednesday

The training included the planning and implementation of a number of high-profile training activities including training to enhance maritime security, the protection of maritime lines of communication procedures, and management of business offensive and defensive combat while conducting a variety of exercises using helicopters to strengthen the work of fighting marine formations.
