INS Tabar reached the port of Alexandria in Egypt. The Indian warship and the Greek warship are said to have conducted this exercise on June 30. The purpose of this exercise is to increase the training of the Greek army with the navies of other countries of the world. It aims to improve operational readiness, combat capability and cooperation on a bilateral basis.

The system has been designed by Indian Army Engineers along with DRDO and manufactured by Larsen and Toubro Limited within the country, they said.
The officials said that despite the COVID restrictions placed on industries in the last one year the supply of the bridging systems to the Indian Army has been on schedule.
