Indian Navy Looks for Unmanned Surface Vessels

‘The Indian Navy’s (IN) lookout for an unmanned survey vessel is in line with the global interests in unmanned surface vessels that are to be used for a myriad functions. With proper planning and deployment, the use of USVs will allow the navy to conduct certain missions safely and in most instances more efficiently and with the overall cost lower than similar manned operations.

Indian Army Demonstrates Drone Swarms During Army Day Parade

The Indian Army carried out a live demonstration of Drone Swarming capability using 75 indigenously designed and developed drones which executed an array of Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled simulated offensive missions and close support tasks during the Army Day Parade held at Delhi Cantt on 15 January 2021.

Handing Over of Products Developed by CVRDE to Users

CVRDE has indigenously designed and developed Three Ton Retractable Landing Gear (RLG) Systems for Tapas UAV. The design, development and testing of this gear system is carried out in co-ordination with CEMILAC and DGAQA for certification. The tricycle nose wheel type multidisciplinary, hydro-electro-mechanical system is now being manufactured by an Industry at Coimbatore.
