New Delhi: UNion Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday gave its nod to the signing of MoU between the Central electricity Authority, India and Japan Coal Energy Centre , on the Japan -India cooperation for the environmental improvement for the sustainable, stable and the low carbon supply of electricity.
The MoU is aimed at enabling the framework in expediting sustainable. stable and low carbon thermal power development by means of studies, training program and knowledge sharing activities.
This framework will address the barriers and issues in the sustainable and low carbon thermal power development.
Outcomes of this are to be conducive to overall power development in India as well as to expedite relevant policy implementation by the Government.
