HAL Posts Over ₹ 21,100 Crore Turnover in 2019-20

The Hindustan Aeronautics Limited recorded a turnover of over Rs 21,100 crore (provisional and unaudited) for the financial year ended on March 31, 2020, up from the previous years figure of Rs19,705 crore. “The company has posted a revenue growth of around seven per cent during 2019-20 for the second year consecutively, post listing as compared to 3.8 per cent during 2017-18,” the Bengaluru-headquartered defence PSU said in a statement.

JNPT Handles 5 Million TEUs for Second Year in A Row

State-owned Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), India’s busiest container port, handled five million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) in FY20, despite of the tough fiscal year due to sluggish economic growth for most of the months and worsened lately by the outbreak of the coronavirus. JNPT, located near Mumbai, has crossed the 5 million TEU handling mark for the second year in a row.
