First India-Based Western Classical Music Orchestra in Europe

The Indo-European Youth Orchestra will have 6 professional Hungarian musicians in all the section of the orchestra – 1st Violin, 2nd Violin, Viola and Cello. The “Indo-European Youth Orchestra” in collaboration with prestigious “Hungarian Orchestra” and “Danube Symphony Orchestra” is to organise the concert on Aug 18th Budapest.

Wing Commander Varthaman emerged a national hero after he shot down a Pakistani F-16 fighter jet on February 27 during a dogfight near the Line of Control . The dogfight took place a day after Indian Air Force jets bombed terror camps in Pakistan’s Balakot after 40 soldiers were killed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama by a suicide bomber of the Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Remedy for Neuropathic Pain could be in the Offing – Researchers at IISc

In the new research, the scientists have found that any injury to the neuron led to an increase in the level of lysozymeprotein in it and this in turn activated a protein called `Toll like receptor-4‘ on the neuronal cell surface leading to development of pain and that application of lysozyme inhibitors subsequently resulted in pain relief. The experiment was conducted on laboratory rat models for pain.

HAL Pitches For 4 More Squadrons of Su-30MKI

State-owned Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) has pitched for an order to manufacture four additional squadrons of the Su-30 MKI jets to quickly meet gaps in fighter squadron strength but the air force seems to be only keen on ordering replacements for aircraft that have been lost in accidents.
