Rajnath Briefed on Enhancing Indian Ocean Maritime Security

The IMAC is the nodal centre of the various agencies working in the field of maritime security to improve coastal surveillance. Rajnath Singh was in Gurugram to review the functioning of IMAC as well as the Information Fusion Centre-Indian Ocean Region (IFC-IOR) which is a collaborative construct working with partner agencies, countries and international agencies to enhance maritime security and safety.

51 Years After it went Missing, Parts of AN-12 BL-534 Aircraft Recovered

According to a press release issued by the Public Relations Office (PRO) of the Defence wing, an expedition of Dogra Scouts was launched on July 26 this year to Dhaka Glacier under the aegis of Headquarter Western Command with an aim to recover the mortal remains of soldiers who were onboard AN-12 BL-534 Aircraft, which went missing over Rohtang Pass on 7 February 1968.
